Unfinished History

During the 1980s and into the 1990s (this photo is 1997) St. Paul's was a sanctuary for refugees from the U.S.-sponsored wars in Central America. And in the early 1970s it provided shelter to UFW organizers during the long effort to unionize California's farmworkers.
