The 1902 Federal 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and Central Post Office at Mission and 7th Streets. After serious damage in the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake, the building was gutted and rebuilt from the inside out, reopening in November 1996, but no longer a post office.
